Guirkin Plumbing, Heating & Air Conditioning is certified in natural gas and liquefied petroleum gas. Mr. Guirkin is a master gas fitter, master plumber, and master HVAC. They have been in business for 47 years. They started doing new house construction and small commercial work to include large apartment projects and expanded to more than 70 employees. 20 years later, they scaled down and went into the service industry doing residential service work.
They work on or repair any plumbing fixture in your home or office to include kitchen sinks, faucets, lav-faucets, GD, toilets, bathtubs, tub and shower diverters, water heaters, on-demand heaters, and circulation pumps. All of our service techs are cross-trained to do plumbing, heating, A/C and gas piping. It will save the customer money when one service tech can do a plumbing job as well as an A/C job. They are dealers of Trane® equipment and can service all makes and brands.
Spring and fall services should be done twice a year to keep your equipment in tip-top shape. Filters should be cleaned or replaced once per month for quality air and top performance from your equipment. The hotter it is outside, the harder your compression will work to maintain a proper indoor temperature. So rake the leaves away from the outdoor unit and keep the area clean.
They also sell vented and unvented gas logs. They service, clean, and repair gas logs and direct vent fireplaces. Parts are usually available through different supply houses. Unvented logs will provide light and plenty of heat when the electricity goes out. They are an Empire gas log dealer.
